The corporate headquarters of FedEx Office and Print Services will be relocating to Plano before the end of 2015.

The Dallas-based company has begun construction on its new corporate headquarters, which will be located in Plano at a new campus at the northeast corner of Legacy and Headquarters drives, just south of State Highway 121 — part of the Legacy West development.

Once completed, the new FedEx Office headquarters will be in a 265,000-square-foot, four-story building.

Dallas-based real estate developer KDC was hired by FedEx Office’s parent company, FedEx Corp to oversee the new headquarter complex’s construction, with Rogers O’Brien Construction serving as the general contractor.

Construction is expected to be completed before the end of this year, with FedEx office moving in immediately after.fedex headquarters

When it happens later this year, the move will consolidate under one roof the FedEx Office headquarters, currently found spread over eight floors within the Dallas Galleria complex, as well as its Plano customer service location.

What all this means is that before the end of 2015, FedEx Office will be bringing over 1,200 employees to the far Northwest corner of Plano, on the border with Frisco and directly across the street from where Toyota is building their U.S. headquarters.
